"The breeding birds in Hagen"
A website to support the publication of the eponymous book about the biodiversity of our local breeding birds

Stephan Sallermann is the owner of a professional gardening and landscaping company.
Since 1974 he has worked in natural history and deals with general landscape ecology and
Ornithology (botany, geology). He is also involved in the "NABU Stadtverband Hagen".
In April 2009, Stephan Sallermann turned to Torsten Mühlhoff with a request
to create an accompanying website for the publication of the book "The breeding birds in Hagen".
Three years earlier, Torsten Mühlhoff had already created the
website
of for company Dipl.-Ing. Sallermann Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH.
The challenge of this project was certainly the short time span,
Torsten Mühlhoff had available for implementation.
After only four weeks a website corresponding to the "look and feel" of the book should be created.
No sooner said than done.

"Furthermore, large popularity!"
Dear Mr. Mühlhoff,
in 2009 our book "The breeding birds of Hagen" (in German: "Die Brutvögel Hagens") appeared. As the
web site of our company already had a very successful effect on our business, I saw good opportunities for the marketing of this book.
By means of this very attractive website, there were many prospects that I never had reached otherwise.
Although the book is long out of print, the pages remain and continue to enjoy great popularity.
