Corporate Intranet: Business and technical design
We want not to prescribe, but we want to create opportunities. - We want to provide something that has potential to be "helpful" even in 2-n years. - We want to "address" all but especially "include" the younger generation. - We want to support the WE.

The aim of this initiative was the creation of an information, communication and collaboration platform,
which should allow everyone in the group in an easy way both
the access to information relevant to him and possible counterparts as well as
to get actively involved as a know-how carrier.
On the basis of a comprehensive multi-stage survey, which took into account all levels and areas within the Group,
the business concept was developed in a cross-functional team.
Slightly offset in time the architectural model was designed and the technologies were evaluated.
Essential in the selection of the technologies were aspects such as modularity, service orientation,
flexibility, scalability and maintainability.
In a proof of concept possible challenges of an implementation were addressed.
One result was the re-adjustment of the requirements definition to simplify a technical implementation.
