The Community of Artists
Diversity of Art's stands for beautiful art and dedicated artists.
As a member of this association, it fills me with joy and pride prepare and to carry out exciting projects
together with the artists.
In this project, which stands in a pure volunteer context, I was exhibiting artist and co-organizer
who got involved especially in medial subjects in the context of the preparation and the follow-up.
I am happy to give you a little insight.
The project: "Krefeld, Kempen and the Music"
In early December 2013, we visited the
SABO Art & Café
in Kempen to coordinate together with Ursula Sabottke, the leader of this particular cafe of artists,
whether and when a joint exhibition could be realized.
The motto was quickly found - "Krefeld, Kempen and the Music" -
and we agreed on Friday, September 5, 2014 as the date for the opening.
The exhibition itself should be expected to be visited until Sunday, 14 September.
For the subsequent period, a project plan was developed, which in addition to numerous organizational tasks
also scheduled very inspiring actions.
And so we visited the two cities Krefeld and Kempen,
to create a comprehensive picture of these two entirely very different places for ourselves.
We are happy to provide for you a slideshow with images of both cities:

Title: Slideshow with pictures of Krefeld and Kempen
After so much inspiration all artists were now challenged to implement the subject "Krefeld, Kempen and the Music" through art.
The result are 49 works of art, consisting partly of multiple frames in different sizes
and were created with different materials and reflect a very individual view of the two cities.
I myself picked up one image from each of the cities.
Krefeld: "Radical change"
As part of the tour through Krefeld I took a picture of the the listed external wall of the former School of Art,
that served as a training center for the textile designers of the "city as silk".
Later, it was part of the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein, Department of Design.
Now it is part of the under construction headquarters of the Krefeld Wohnstätte GmbH.
Only indicated by the stairs standing in the foreground, there is the "glass and cement house", the so-called "Behnisch-House".
The architect Behnisch designs included the Munich Olympic Stadium and, indeed, the glass house.
Thoughts on the picture: Krefeld changing / big changes are imminent: drama, lightning, destruction / "preserving old" - the only unprocessed area is the old wall / confidence: colors in yellow and orange / changes must match: Puzzle / people are in focus during these changes
Kempen: "Peter Street"
The Peter Street south to the church St. Marien ("At St. Mary's"),
whose construction began around 1200 and was completed in 1490 with its present form.
In venga-Café
many people are relaxing with distant saxophone sounds.
Thoughts on the picture: Relaxation / leisure / romance / soft coloring / tradition
And a little beyond...
The preparation of the exhibition also required some "craft" activities.
So it was important to bring the most important data of all images in an appropriate form and print them on cards.
Example view of an information card in the format of 20cm x 13cm.
Of course, an
announcement on the website of the Community of Artists
could not be missed.
During the opening the beautiful moments should be captured in pictures and prepared accordingly in the follow-up.
But see for yourself:
